AN INTRODUCTION
Hailing from Middlesborough and the Isle of Man but finding a home in Manchester, The Blue Rogues fuse the spirit of classic blues with expansive psychedelic rock, creating a sound rooted in the past but charged with modern intensity. Inspired by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Muse, the trio carve out a space defined by fuzz-drenched riffs, hypnotic grooves, and dynamic, atmospheric shifts.
The band consists of John (lead guitar/vocals), Sam (bass), and Benji (drums), a stripped-back line-up that leans into chemistry and improvisation. Their live shows are where they thrive most: extended jams, heavy crescendos, and a palpable connection with the crowd.
In March, the band headlined a standout show at The Eagle Inn, drawing a packed room and marking a key moment in their early rise. They continue that momentum with a support slot for Fridge on April 14th, further cementing their presence in the local scene.
Their debut single, ‘Traces of Judi’ set to be released in May, captures the band’s duality of blues-rooted storytelling wrapped in expansive, psychedelic textures, offering a first glimpse into their evolving sound.
